Oral Interpretation

This year's Oral Interpretation festival will be held at the Paul Shaghoian Concert Hall on the Clovis North campus for the first time ever!  Come check out the Tarpey Spartan's on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 9:00 - 1:45 p.m. as they perform Pirates Don't Change Diapers by Melinda Long.  We can't wait to see you there!

Advisors: Shaunna Harris & Laura Rosander

All students should:

  • Be in 4th-6th grade  (earn Block T points)
  • Be able to memorize a script using hand motions, vocal variations, and facial expressions
  • Be able to practice before school at 7:30 a.m.
  • Be willing to practice at home in front of a mirror
  • Be at practice with a positive attitude

A HUGE congratulations goes out to our oral interpretation students who received a superior rating for today’s performance.  We are so proud of our Spartans!!!!  And a HUGE thank you to Dr. Vue for coming out to support our Spartans as they performed today.




 2016 Oral Interpretation Team

oral for web.jpgOn Tuesday, February 16, 2016 Tarpey's Oral Interpretation team performed at the CUSD Festival at the Mercedes Edwards Theater.  They received the Superior Awards for their amazing performance.  A huge thanks to Mrs. Harris & Mrs. Rosander for their efforts to bring our team together for a top-notch performance reciting Ninja Red Riding Hood by Corey Rosen Schwartz!
