ann higgins
On June 10, 2004, Tarpey Elementary School was pleased to dedicate our Library Media Center to Ann Higgins in honor of her many years of service to the students and community of Tarpey Elementary School from 1968-2004. Ann inspired students for 38 years!

Ann Higgins taught second, third, fourth, and sixth grade classes at Tarpey for 36 years.  She also spent many hours involved in co-curricular activities including spirit coordinator, track coach, and Student Study Team member.  Upon her retirement in 2004, the faculty, staff, and students chose to recognize her countless hours of devotion to the teaching profession by naming the school library in her honor.
